Description: Stuckey Farms has an enormous apple orchard, which visitors can wander and pick their own apples from many different varieties. In the fall, squash and pumpkins are also available. In addition, their large "autumn themed" store has a selection of various fresh fruits and vegetables, several varieties of fresh honey, and Stuckey brand apple cider which is made right there in the store.

Apples: Tons of varieties to choose from, including cross varieties such as Jonamac.

Description: Ditzler Orchard has been in operation for over 30 years. They have a large variety of apples and feature fresh apple cider all fall. Guests are welcome to stay and picnic on the grounds. They also offer school tours and Saturday pic- your-own. Ditzler Orchard is also affiliated with Cherrywood Farm a pick-your-own berry patch.

Apples: Jonathan, Gala, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Jonagold, Jonalicious, Grimes Golden, HoneyCrisp, Fuji, Braeburn, Green Granny and many more.

Other Fruit: Sweet cherries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, some plums and peaches.


Beasley's Orchard and Gardens

Description: A 165 acre apple farm, featuring over 25 varieties of apples, 15 acres of pumpkins, and assorted vegetables. Beasley's is celebrating their 20th Annual Heartland Apple Festival this year on October 7, 8, 14, and 15th. The market is housed in a Civil-War era barn, which is also home to the bakery and Cider Bar. Beasley's apple cider, made from an old family recipe, has won the first place honors at the Indiana State Cider contest for the past two years. The farm also features an 8-acre cornfield maze. Please see our web site for the picture and details. Groups are welcome, but please call ahead. School group tours are also given by appointment only.

Apples: Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Gala, Empire, Melrose, Cortland, McIntosh, Idared and later in October, Mutsu, Braeburn and Fuji.

Other Fruit: Cantaloupe and Watermelon during the summer months. A large assortment of pumpkins, squash and gourds is also available during October.
