Job Posting Title: Promotion Coordinator, Indianapolis - Radio Disney
Job Description: Radio Disney in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Promotion Coordinator. They will be responsible for supporting the Promotion Manager in the coordination and execution of local promotional events and upholding the Radio Disney Brand at all times.
Responsibilities:
Protect the Disney brand and FCC license.
Be aware of all FCC regulations and assist the station in remaining compliant with these regulations.
Follow and abide by all station policies and procedures.
Work alongside the WRDZ Promotion Manager to implement Radio Disney's on-site performances, protecting the brand and setting high standards of performance. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to: communicating with clients and venues regarding execution, working with vendors to produce materials, manage projects through internal approval processes and working with internal teams on project development.
Work with Promotion Manager to create excitement with promotionally driven sales opportunities.
Assist the sales department in preparations of proposals and recaps, running reports and general office management responsibilities.
Must stay current with trends and Radio Disney content.
Ability to work independently and as a team in a high-paced environment.
Ability to update online forms (station calendar, etc).
Strong PR & Communication Skills.
Basic Qualifications:At least 1 year of experience in radio, promotion and/or event planning or management.
Must be able to provide full work availability for this position, which may include work nights, weekends and holidays based on station calendar.
At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with media, community groups or schools, and children.
Previous graphic experience working with Photoshop or a similar application.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
