Easter Seals Crossroads
June 2013

Easter Seals Crossroads recognizes that traditional camps are not always an option for children on the autism spectrum. Camp R.O.C.K.S. (Respecting Other's Capabilities is the Key to Success) hosts two adaptive camp sessions for kids ages 10 - 18. Each session promises an exciting, memorable five night, six day outdoor camp experience where the professional staff is trained to work with children on the autism spectrum.

Campers will enjoy science exploration, swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, and nature hikes in a fun, nurturing environment.

The Camp R.O.C.K.S. facility at Bradford Woods has a limited number of spots available.

Session One: June 9th - June 14th

Session Two: June 23rd - June 28th

The cost is $375.00 per session and all meals are provided.

Here's what parents are saying about Camp R.O.C.K.S.

"We will be back this summer. Camp R.O.C.K.S. is all my son has talked about since he came home last year!"

"We loved everything about Camp R.O.C.K.S. and the staff was great!

"Camp R.O.C.K.S. was perfect for my teenage son. He made new friends and he gained a great deal of confidence."

Easter Seals Crossroads has also created CampAbility, a day camp providing guardians with care during the work day for children ages 4 - 11. Each of the three, two week sessions allow children with special needs opportunities to improve communication and social skills. Campers will experience a variety of sensorimotor activities as well.
