Lemonade Day Indianapolis

LemonadeDayStands_47

April 2014

Have you heard about Lemonade Day? We're teaching kids how to start, own and operate their own business: a lemonade stand! Last year, 20,000 Greater Indianapolis area kids participated! If your kids have participated in the past, we've got some exciting changes this year that you should know about...Lemonade Day Indianapolis is the first and only Lemonade Day city in the country to "go green"! We are shifting from a printed workbook (found in that yellow backpack kids received in the past) to a web-based workbook! Kids can work through Lemonade Day lessons online now - no more paper! Plus, we're offering some fun incentives and rewards for kids who participate: every child who signs up will get a reusable Lemonade Day tote bag and kids who complete our web-based workbook will receive a fun prize!

Here's how it works: 1) Register your child/ren, 2) After your child is registered, you'll get an email with a link to fun web-based lessons about running a lemonade business! 3) Work through the web-based lessons at home at your own pace, 4) Your kids can get their start-up $$ from us through our Seed Fund(optional) 5)Participate in one or more workshops and contests (optional), 6) Set up a lemonade stand on Lemonade Day, Saturday May 17th! (*Kids can set up stands at home or check our Stands Location page for more options)
