Don't let the summer heat keep you from going outside! Explore one of the many splash parks in Indy with the whole family. Don't forget the sunscreen! Most of these parks are free to the public.

Indianapolis Zoo: The Splash Park is open on hot days over 70 degrees during regular zoo hours. (317) 630-2001, www.indyzoo.com

Billericay Park: The Splash Pad is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day from 10 AM – 8 PM daily. (317) 595-3150, www.fishers.in.us

Dillon Park: In the midst of the parks 77.5 acres is the splash park that opened officially on May 19th. Hours of operation are 10 AM – 7 PM. (317) 776-6350, www.cityofnoblesville.org

Mulberry Fields: Cool off from a day at the skate park, walking trails, and athletic fields in the splash parks. (317) 733-2275, www.zionsville-in.gov

Avon-Washington Township Park: The Shangri-La Splash Pad is sure to bring a smile to your kids' faces on those hot summer days. Open daily, 11 AM – 6 PM. (317) 745-0785,

West Park: Among its many other great amenities, this park has an interactive, farm-themed water feature/spray park. Open daily from dusk until dawn, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. (317) 848-7275, www.carmelclayparks.com

Lawrence W. Inlow Park: While a little smaller than most Carmel parks, the interactive fountain in the spray park is sure to cool off anybody on a hot day.
