What our show is:"Magically Ever After: More Than Just A Fairy Tale" at the Indianapolis Winter Magic Festival

Where: The Cook Theatre @ Indiana Landmark Center, 12th and Central Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202

When: Show times are Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 2:00pm and 9:30pm and Sunday January 20th, 2013 at 4:30pm

What's it about?: When asked what our show is about, we have summed it up in about 50 words:

"Magically Ever After" is an original story told through magic. Come and journey with us as we create, inspire, and turn another page in the storybook of magic. Brooms will dance, Cauldrons will bubble, toil and trouble, and love will endure."

This is a new undertaking in magic. We have, with the help of others and from stories, created magic never before seen on a stage. We have a full score of music provided by Kevin Macleod (www.incompetech.com) that will help us create this fairy tale world. Very seldom is it seen that a magic show consists of a continuous story from beginning to end. We like to think of it as a Magical play, and just like true stories and fairy tales, this show will appeal to a wide spectrum of audience members of different ages. When the curtain falls everyone will leave with a Magically Ever After in their heart.

Devin J Stewart and Jennifer Cavanaugh are from Indianapolis, Indiana and perform under Stewart Magic Entertainment. Devin has been performing magic professionally since 2007 and has performed more than 400 shows in that time, from birthday parties to full illusion stage shows. Jennifer started performing with Devin in 2011 and has grown to love magic and has become a talented sleight of hand artist and skilled in the art of escape. Jennifer also has a Bachelor's degree from Purdue in Animal Behaviorism and she is responsible for the training and care of the animals used in their shows. Both Jennifer and Devin were performers in the successful 2012 Indy Fringe show "Illusionistory" with magician Matt Fisher and Taylor Martin.

What is a fairy tale without hopes and dreams? Devin and Jennifer's dreams are that this show will spark an interest in people of all ages to read and enjoy fairytales. Their hope is that Magically Ever After will be brought into schools to encourage kids to dream and to go to their libraries. So many stories and fairytales are forgotten and need to be remembered for their adventures and for their morals.

We will be performing a preview of this show at the January 1st, 2013 Indy Magic Monthly at Theater on the Square. We invite any media persons to come out and enjoy a night of great magic. (IndyMagicMonthly andTots.org)
