Clay Terrace to host 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Thousands of eggs for families to find

March 25, 2013 | 12:26 PM

On Saturday, March 30, Clay Terrace will host an Easter egg hunt to remember. With thousands of eggs hidden around the grassy knoll play area, the whole family will have fun searching for the Easter Bunny's hidden treasures.

The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 9:00 a.m. with children ages 0-3 searching for goodies first, followed by hunts designed for children ages 4-6 and 7-10, kicking off at 9:30 and 10:30. Sponsored by Franciscan St. Francis Health Carmel and St. Francis Immediate Care, the hunt will be located in the Grassy Knoll behind Kona Grill and Mitchell's Fish Market. This year's hunt will feature thousands of eggs for little ones to hunt for, as well as face painting, a balloon artist and a photo op with the Easter Bunny, provided by Lauren Weghorst Photography. Families will also get the chance to get up close and personal with Big-E-Foot, the Indianapolis Ice Mascot and a police car from the Carmel Police Department.

"Clay Terrace loves the chance to celebrate with spring with the community," said Alex Gagnier, director of mall marketing and development. "We look forward to the growth of this event and seeing all the children come out for Easter fun."

Clay Terrace, owned by Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE:SPG) and Lauth, encompasses 504,000 sq. ft. and has over 70 stores.
