Indians Offer Two Special Mother's Day Packages Including On-Field Catch

April 22, 2013 | 08:37 AM

Give mom a mother's day gift she will never forget with two unique gift packages from the Indianapolis Indians. Mothers and their children will have the chance to play catch on the Victory Field outfield grass following the Tribe's 1:35 p.m. game against the Toledo Mud Hens on Sunday, May 12, and can also get mom a special pair of Indians' earrings just by buying some Tribe gear of their own.

Returning for a second season, the Indians' Mother's Day Catch package costs $50 and includes two box seats for the game as well as a commemorative Indians logo baseball and the opportunity to play catch on Victory Field following the game. Fans can also purchase additional tickets for $12 each, additional field-access wristbands for $10 each and additional commemorative logo baseballs for $5 each.

There is no deadline to purchase Mother's Day Gift packages, but act now because packages are only available while they last. Fans who would like to receive their package by mail must have their orders submitted by May 6.

This season the Indians are also offering fans the chance to get mom a special gift just by purchasing some Indians' gear of their own. Leading up to and on Mother's Day, any fan that spends $50 or more at either the Indians Hot Corner or Big League Gift Shops, will receive a free limited edition pair of Indianapolis Indians' earrings (while supplies last).

The Indians Hot Corner Gift Shop is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. It is also open along with the Big League Shop during all Tribe home games.
