The hills are alive with the sound of Yuletide!

The hills are alive with the sound of Yuletide!

Simply put, the 2014 Duke Energy Yuletide Celebration is fantastic! Each and every year, the ISO masterfully tweaks the production making the show fresh and interesting. This year is no exception.

As before, audiences will enjoy Grammy Award winner Sandi Patty, incredible costuming, top notch vocal talent, the famous tap dancing Santas, and more. This year, however, The von Trapps grace the Hilbert Circle Theatre's stage, and many of their beloved songs are beautifully incorporated into the show.

The rich history of The Sound of Music continues today with these great-grandchildren of Captain and Maria von Trapp. Several years ago the four siblings, Sofi, Melanie, Amanda and August, made a recording to cheer their ill grandfather (Kurt "the incorrigible" von Trapp). Little did they know it would inspire a new musical legacy that would take them around the world.

If you have not secured tickets to this year's ISO Yuletide Celebration, visit www.indianapolissymphony.org today. Because of the popularity of this year's production, they have added a show on December 11th. Tickets are available for other performances as well.

Frohe Weihnachten!
