Celebrate National Engineer’s Day at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis this Saturday!

February 20, 2014 | 09:56 AM

Along with a variety of engaging programs and hands-on activities, visitors can meet local scientists who will demonstrate how engineering contributes to our family's health and safety. Families will also have a chance to meet a REAL astronaut!

The museum's scientist-in-residence, engineer, medical doctor and former NASA astronaut Dr. David Wolf will share video and stories of his space travels and explain the importance of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) during two separate programs at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Dr. Wolf's presentations are free with general admission, but free tickets are required to reserve your seat and visitors are encouraged to pick them up early in the day from the Lower Level Ticket Desk.
