6TH ANNUAL INDIANAPOLIS KIDS TRIATHLON
For Competitive and Non-Competitive Athletes Ages 14 and Under “Small Fry” Division for Kids Ages 6 and Under!

he JCC of Indianapolis presents the sixth annual Indianapolis Kids Triathlon and family fun day on Sunday, June 30, beginning at 8 am. This premier event is USAT-sanctioned and attracts youth participants from all over Indiana. Children of all athletic and experience levels are welcome. Everyone’s a winner at this event!

Small Fry Division: Children 6 years old and younger with parental assistance can join the fun by “competing” with other kids in their own division. A USAT license is not required for this division and participants will not be timed.

25 yard swim (must be able to swim independently) / 3.5 mile bike / .5 mile run – with parental assistance

Junior Division: Ages 7-10

100 yard swim / 3.5 mile bike / .5 mile run – no parental assistance

Senior Division: Ages 11-14

200 yard swim / 6 mile bike / 1 mile run – no parental assistance

A USAT license is required for the Junior and Senior divisions. A license may be purchased for $10 at usatriathlon.org. Racing age is the participant’s age on December 31, 2012.

Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners of each age group. In addition, each participant will receive a medal after crossing the finish line!

June 1-24: $35 general public / $30 JCC members June 1-28

Packet Pick-Up: Saturday, June 29, 3-5 pm at the JCC’s East Membership Desk.



Family Fun Follows the Race!

Participants and their families and guests are welcome to make a day of the race. All are invited to swim in the JCC’s very own water park, the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Water Park, play in a bounce house and enjoy post-event refreshments.
