Promise Monsters and Riley Hospital for Children "Monster Maker" Contest

April 01, 2013

Promise Monsters, an Indianapolis-based toy manufacturer, is teaming up this April with Riley Hospital For Children and hosting a Monster Maker contest! Children in the hospital (and all over the state) will be drawing their own monsters for the chance to have their drawing made into a real-life plush toy that will spread kindness all over the world.

Here's how it works:

Promise Monsters are plush monsters, made right here in Indianapolis, that spread sneaky acts of kindness. Every Promise Monsters comes with a Monster Mission - a fun and sneaky act of kindness for you to complete. When you complete your kind mission - you get a reward! Promise Monsters are sold at retail locations all over Indiana and Michigan, and can be bought online at PromiseMonsters.com.

This month, current and former patients of Riley Hospital (and their families) are invited to draw their own monster and think of their own act of kindness. The winning child will have his or her monster made into a real plush toy sold all over the world, and will play a part in spreading thousand of acts of kindness! And $5 from every monster sold will go right back to the Riley Foundation.

You can learn more about Promise Monsters, read some of the kind stories from completed missions, and enter the Monster Maker contest by visiting PromiseMonsters.com. The contest ends April 30th.
